What was the highlight of Huay Kaew Palace 1
Disappointed with our stay. It was a good location for what we needed, but not the stay we wanted.
We didn't know breakfast was available, we weren't told of breakfast times at check-in and looking at our booking after it said breakfast was included in the price.
The rooms felt a bit outdated and the pictures on booking.com didn't reflect the hotel. It just felt a bit tired and rundown. I found ants in the room at one point and we weren't offered any change of towels during our stay.

The cons outweighed the pros. I stayed in old wing, the newly built part is likely a lot nicer.
Staff were helpful in getting me a ride to the airport. Internet was fast and reliable.
The bed was rock hard, may as well have slept on the tile floor. My room was only serviced twice over five days, so I had to go and ask reception for more towels and toiletries. Bidet hose leaked a lot, so floor in bathroom very wet. Shower only got to lukewarm temperature

The room and bathroom were good, clean and with air...
The room and bathroom were good, clean and with air conditioner. The breakfast was also great.
There were small ants in the room and breakfast room. The personal was friendly but they didn't speak too much english.
